My second foray into Sport Hill Terrain pants. I have two pair from somewhere aroun 5-7 years ago, and they are now threadbare. Time for something new.I’m 5’10” ~ 165 pounds, fairly fit and live in NE Minnesota. My running days are over, but long dog walks in the woods, cross country skiing on lakes and snow shoeing require flexible pants that will fit multiple uses. Upon receiving them, the following morning dog walk was -24°. A set of light weight long underwear beneath the Terrain ll pants was not enough, but that’s not the fault of the pants. Point is, one can layer appropriately underneath these pants, and that was imperative for what I do outdoors. The pants seem to run a bit large and long, but better that than small and short. If you take a medium and run a 33 to perhaps 34 inch inseam, these pants should keep you covered, and cover just about all outdoor activities. The old model was 85% polypropylene 15 % spandex. I believe these are 90%/10% and feel as though the we’ve is tighter, which does in fact give them a better wind protection property.Dog hair, yep. Used to have a GS with light colored undercoat, and I looked fuzzy wearing the pants. Now I have a black GS with a black undercoat. Hair with the tighter weave doesn’t appear to be as big a concern as with the earlier model of this pant. So, I put them on in the morning, and depending on what the days activities are, sometimes live in this versatile, comfortable athletic pant.Time to get another before their gonedog hair magnetGreat produis comfortable in wind. The material is comfortable and truly covers a wide range of temperatures (0 to 50 degrees). The cut and length are perfect. The BEST pants.
