2019, Sept 23rd Update - I continue to enjoy these well designed tac-pants, so much so that I picked up another black pair, noting that these were slightly longer and slightly bigger diameter at leg bottoms - Wish granted - 1 star added! Oh and BTW, my black pair have not faded nearly as much as a previous reviewer stated, might be because of what they used to wash the pants - I use a gentle but effective organic, non-chemical laundry and all my Flex tac-pants are looking great, with fade behavior typical of all pants with cotton in them - which is to say, that I am very pleased with these... I went ahead and got another 3 pairs recently, a drab green pair and two more coyote (I have 3 coyote color now - my fave). Again very happy with these but also noted something new. The fabric feels very slightly thinner and perhaps has a higher percentage of the tougher synthetic fabric. Whatever the case is, the new pants are just as comfortable and are using exactly the same brilliant pocket design, leg hook & loop straps - great pants, best I am aware of!I took a chance on these and glad I did. Though the cost is a bit high but when you consider these are designed and rip stop material cut by x-military guys out of Russia (or Ukraine - I forget) and sewn in Europe, the material extra tough, fasteners and zippers tough and well designed, near perfect compliment of pockets and pocket design, velcro on the legs in just the right places, knee armor support (I prefer heavy CE2 knee & shin armor under pant) with double material in knees... You get my point, these were clearly designed by guys who've walk the walk and know what they like and need in a durable tactical pant. For my part, I use these as summer ADV pants, that is tough pants that are a little cooler than my heavy motorcycle Adventure pants yet nearly as tough - The pockets are simply a superb design - these guys should win an award for their excellent design! My only complaint is that they are a little narrow at the very bottom and also Not as long as I'd like a "Long" to be. I got the XL/Longs - I am 6' 1" (1.854m) about 200lb, muscular with very large calves, 33" waist and 34" inseam but prefer 35" to 36" inseam pants for ADV riding, seeing as knees are bent most of the time with heavy armor knee and shin protection. I would love to see these pant with a slightly bigger diameter pant cuff with the same cuff bungie already there, perhaps cinchable... Overall, these are the best Tac Pants to date (and yes, I have for many years been searching and buying way too many tac pants, some of which were so poorly designed or using poor materials that I simply not believe anyone would buy such stuff - yeah, that would be me though I did send the really bad stuff back and the rest I have my seamstress modify, none to my satisfaction but at least better than the factory)... Yes and the price is high, only bested by one other tac pant made of nylon and spandex only at roughly $96 - that material combination is actually VERY ideal, degrading much more slowly and material using cotton, drying more quickly and much more durable. Still, I think these are my vote as best dollar value for what you get so far that I've found. I did 4 stars due to not quite being long enough fir a "Long" length and being needlessly tight with a small diameter cuff (though it is workable as is).Bought two models - aggressor and conquistador. Not easy to see the difference in description so i was going to keep one of these and return another one. Couldn't get any of them back - too cool. Specially thanks for knee protection option.I recommend this product ?The only thing I dislike are all the pockets. It’s just unnecessary with my line of work.Great tac pants. Order 1 size larger than you would. It has 2 front buttons and 2 side velcro sizers that you can change sizes 2 up or 2 down (36-32).Only bad thing, they are Thin, like reinforced parachute material, not warm, Not for COLD Weather Pants, order 1 size up to add long johns under. My normal 34W 34L was a 32W 34L for me, other than that the pants are amazing. I work at a vehicle assembly plant as a supervisor and it’s nice to have extra pockets. Pants are made strong and are very dutiable at work. Good product I will be buying more now that I know my correct size. The straps in the back of the pants do help with slimming things down. There are also straps in the waist band that can help slim things down, these straps are Velcro applied, so just pull the straps to the desired fit them Velcro them down.I have 2 pair of the Conquistadors, size 36x32 and several pairs of the Aggressors in size 38x32. I am 260# at 5-10. The Conquistadors have Velcro adjustment tabs at each side in the belt line. This is great if you want a tighter fit or are to lazy to install your belt of the day. The "cell phone" pockets are conveniently patterned to fit 30 round AR style magazines, exposing the mag about an inch above the pocket. The knee pockets are fairly large and semi-square. Approximately 9.5 inches both ways at the furthest points. There are pleats sewn into the top of the knee pockets and it "seems" thicker pads could be used. I have 1 inch pads on the way so I will soon know. If you own the Aggressors, the quality compared to this Conquistadors is identical. Conquistador Summary. Great buy with four size adjustment opportunities to the wearer. Two waist tabs adjustments, and the two adjustments above the calf and above the ankle.Primarily, I have to agree with all but one person, size WAY down! Given that I'm 5'7" 140lbs, and typically west 30x30, that would make my size in the US, a tall midget... so naturally I have to go with the smallest sizes and these pants were loose, everywhere. However they are adjustable in multiple areas so they can be sized to fit a range of body shapes, with that said I still wished they made it a smaller size. I do like the slightly forward positioned cargo pockets, I drive and ride alot so this is something I find useful in leisure pants, but the large size of the pocket tend to allow for the migration of items which make it combursom when kneeling or squatting. My next gripe is rather trivial, but the pocket zippers make quite a racket when walking, once again, this may sound trivial, but try walking at pace for an extended period and the clanking will begin to draw your attention; lock in place zippers would have been ideal, but heat shrink or a tether are an easy cure.Overall, they are an ideal choice on a budget and even if not, they are good value when comparing to higher end products.I normally use waist 34 and 30 inseam, this pants fits big at 34, they need to be fully adjusted in waist to get at 34 and once adjusted fabric cramps in waist making them uncomfortable with tactical gun belt. They come at around 36 in waist, without adjustment, and the crotch 2 inches bigger. The long inseam 30 it's perfect, but The adjustable cuff (elastic cord) at bottom, don't have a cord stop to hold it once adjusted !Fabric textile, stitching, Velcros and zippers are pretty good. I will return this one 34X30 (Large) and get a 32 x30 (Medium) size instead and update my Full review for field test and comfort once gear up, hope my return and new size purchase arrive on time. This product arrived earlier and in good state, tags and clean, brand new.Thank you M-Tac for designing this pants.UPDATE .Received the 32 x30 arrived on time and in perfect conditions well tagged and well packed.PROS. This size fits better around waist and crotch, I wear 34 x30 and fits perfect.Tested on field and the pants holds onto dirt, water and hard use in all kind of terrains as gravel and mud they do dry fast, very comfortable using tactical belt fully loaded, pockets on pants placed for easy access when in vehicle and prone position, magazine pockets well placed, knee pads hold very good , no movement, colour adapt well to environment after first use.CONS.The Velcro fabric TAB behind the knees it's a little to big, for when kneeling and became undone or do a bit of noise, maybe consider make the Tab to hold onto Velcro a bit smaller, so It doesn't get caught with branches and avoid crumble behind knee, make the movement a bit uncomfortable and when gets wet gets worse.FINAL. I highly recommended this pants for when need it for some tasks in field, they are operational and comfortable in winter and summer. Compete pretty close to a G3 CRYE combat pants. wish they can make it in Multicam and Multicam arid.Great pants !!Pantalón qué queda a la perfección. These pants are of excellent quality, however, I was sent 3x instead of small, twice. Had to pay $20 to return each one. I haven't decided if I will reorder again. :(The product arrived visibly used in a zipoloc bag. The pants did not have any manufacturer labels. There was a used and soiled N95 face mask inside one pocket and a food stain on the other pocket. These are amazing and exactly what I've been looking for.I prefer this style over the aggressor, I have both. And you cant beat buying from a pride filled company like theirs
